Directions to Central Hostel Riga

From the Airport:

Exit the arrivals terminal and head across the car park to the bus stop. Take Bus 22 (which runs regularly, except between 1 – 5 AM) to the stop called “Autoosta”. The bus fare is 1.50 EUR (at the machine) or 2.00 EUR (if you pay directly to the driver). This is the second stop after crossing the Daugava River.

After getting off at the Autoosta stop, walk straight ahead (in the direction of traffic) for about 50 meters until you reach a tunnel. Walk through the tunnel and exit to the right-hand side at the far corner (past a small shop). This will bring you to Marijas Street.

Walk straight along Marijas Street, and at the intersection, turn left onto Ernesta Birznieka Upisa Iela. Walk for about 100 meters down Ernesta Birznieka Upiša Iela and the entrance to Central Hostel Riga will be on your left-hand side at Ernesta Birznieka Upiša Iela 20.

From the International Bus Station (Autoosta):

When you exit the bus station, walk towards the canal, pass the bus station’s building, and cross the street. Turn left and continue under the bridge. Walk towards Stockmann shopping center and turn right at the corner. Walk along the street for about 100 meters until you reach a tunnel.

Walk through the tunnel and exit to the right-hand side at the far corner (past a small shop). You will reach Marijas Street.

Turn left onto Ernesta Birznieka Upiša Iela, and walk about 100 meters. The entrance to Central Hostel Riga will be on your left-hand side at Ernesta Birznieka Upiša Iela 20.

From the Train Station:

When exiting the train station, head towards the city center (not towards the Central Market). Depending on which exit you use, you may be closer or further from the Origo shopping center attached to the station. If you see McDonald’s across the street, that’s your destination.

If you don’t see McDonald’s, head towards the traffic lights at the far end of Origo, cross the two sets of lights, and you will definitely spot McDonald’s. Once you’re at McDonald’s, turn left onto Marijas Street.

Walk straight ahead and turn left onto Ernesta Birznieka Upiša Iela. Walk about 100 meters and you’ll find Central Hostel Riga at Ernesta Birznieka Upiša Iela 20 on your left-hand side.
